Ananda Sette is a fashion designer graduated by the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and by FIT, in New York City . Besides being the founder of Botões (Portuguese for Buttons), she also works as a costume designer and cenographer.

Botões was created in 1998 beginning with only a few T-shirts with hand-made drawings and buttons which weren't used as buttoning and closing devices, but as part of the drawings themselves.

The collections are always colorful and humorous, with a small production for each design, twenty pieces at most. They are comfortable clothing, day-to-day style, with special and strategic touches. Whoever purchases a piece is always identified with the color, lyrics, design or drawing.
